1. Content and sources

Recipe detail pages are based on the video itself, its description, and some public YouTube metadata. Source information such as the video, video title, and channel information is published by the respective video creator.

2. How we use AI

SweetyTube uses AI to extract, summarize, and edit recipe summaries, ingredients, steps, and tips, and to prepare blog article text. AI-prepared content may not fully match the wording of the original video and may contain omissions or errors.

3. Human review

Every blog article is reviewed by a person before publication. This does not mean that an article is supervised by a qualified professional or that its recipes are test-cooked or independently verified. Unless explicitly stated in the article, this also applies to articles categorized as original recipes.

Not every recipe summary, ingredient list, step, or tip on a recipe detail page is reviewed by a person. Give priority to the original video and check quantities, heating times, allergens, and safety information yourself before cooking.

4. Responsibility

The video creator is the source of the video and recipe information presented in it. SweetyTube is responsible for the text and classifications it extracts, summarizes, and edits from those sources. A listing does not mean that the video creator reviewed, supervised, or approved SweetyTube's text.

5. Updates, corrections, and removals

Anyone may report an error, outdated information, or a rights concern. We review reports and correct, update, or remove content when appropriate. We do not promise a specific response or resolution time.
